Behavior, Information and Technology @ MSU (BITLab)
The BITLab is dedicated to conducting research at the intersection of behavior, information and technology.

Communication Technology Lab (Comm Tech Lab)
Founded in 1984 to explore the potential of emerging communication technologies from a multidisciplinary perspective, the Comm Tech Lab has produced national award winning multimedia applications. The CTL is host wide range of innovative multimedia software being developed by an interdisciplinary team of developers and researchers from around the campus.

Games for Entertainment & Learning (Gel Lab)
This lab's purpose is to design innovative prototypes, techniques and complete games for entertainment or learning. Its goal is to advance knowledge about social and individual effects of digital games.

Health & Risk Communication Center (HRCC)
The Health and Risk Communication Center (HRCC) is housed within the College of Communication Arts & Sciences (CAS) at Michigan State University (MSU) where Dr. Lapinski is affiliate faculty. The HRCC houses an interdisciplinary team of faculty who share intellectual resources and ideas about health behavior change and the role of communication in that process. The HRCC engages trans-disciplinary communication research and activities that use culturally sensitive communication campaigns to promote healthy lifestyle choices. The HRCC and CAS will provide technical and clerical support for the project. The CAS facilities include office space, statistical support, clerical materials, message production and video facilities.

Knight Center
MSU's Knight Center for Environmental Journalism is supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. It is one of 18 specialty journalism programs. The Knight Center hosts research in the field of environmental and science journalism as well as houses the Meeman Archive, an outstanding collection of award-winning environmental journalism.

Quello Center
The Quello Center for Telecommunication Management & Law is dedicated to original research on current issues of information and communication management, law and policy. The center was founded to assist both the public and private sectors through cutting-edge, multidisciplinary research on telecommunication management and policy; serving as a catalyst for the development and adoption of balanced telecommunication policy solutions; and contributing to the private sector's alignment with the economic and political realities of communication industries.
