Richard Milliman Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes the top students in the Capital News Service program. Milliman was the founding bureau chief of CNS, a pioneering effort that partnered J-School students with subscriber's newspapers around the state to cover the capital. CNS was launched in the fall of 1981. Milliman was then president of the Milliman Newspaper Group. CNS bears the mark of his interest in state government and politics.
