Professor Linda Good is also Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Advertising, Public Relations, & Retailing at Michigan State University. She teaches upper level undergraduate courses in Retail Buying and Human Resource Management.
Additionally, she serves as liaison and coordinator for a study abroad exchange program with Stenden University in The Netherlands, Stenden. In 2000, Dr. Good won the MSU B.P. Amoco Foundation Excellence-in-Teaching Award and continues to be an active career advisor and mentor for undergraduate and graduate students alike.
As a native of Kansas, Dr. Good received her undergraduate degree from Kansas State University, while both her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees are from Oklahoma State University. She joined MSU in 1988. She has published research articles on worker morale and met expectations of managerial retail employees, Price-Quality product perceptions of Russian and Polish consumers, labor turnover at various organizational levels, psychometric study of a measure of worker morale, and model of retail labor turnover. Her publications have appeared in the International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management, International Review of Retail, Distribution and Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Managerial Psychology, Journal of Retailing.
