Now Accepting 2013 Faculty Impact Award Nominations

Faculty Impact AwardNominations are now being accepted for the 2013 Faculty Impact Award in the College of Communication Arts & Sciences.

The award, which was created by the CAS Alumni Board, is given annually to a current faculty member of the college who has made a significant and enduring impact on the lives and careers of his or her students. Faculty Impact Award winners of the past have shown a high level of dedication to their students and student outcomes through their teaching and mentoring efforts.

Nominations of faculty members are due by Friday, February 1, 2013. A nomination form and two (or more) letters of support will be accepted from current and/or former students and alumni of any of the five academic units at CAS: The Department of Communication; The Department of Advertising and Public Relations; The Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders; the School of Journalism; and The Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media.
