MSU's 'DNA Roulette' Exhibits at Stanford's Tech Museum

DNA RouletteThe Tech Museum of Innovation, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, has recently added the award-winning MSU-created game, DNA Roulette to a permanent exhibit on their Understanding Genetics website. The game, created by TISM faculty Carrie Heeter in collaboration with the CAS GEL (Games for Entertainment and Learning) Lab, uses a procedural approach to familiarize players with the probabilistic nature of genomics.

Due to its ability to demonstrate genetic variability in an engaging way, the creators of DNA Roulette believe the game also has many useful applications, particularly in healthcare and public policy settings.

The Tech Museum of Innovation is a technology and science museum as well as a non-profit learning resource located in San Jose, California.
