MSU Broadcasting Services joins college

Michigan State University Broadcasting Services, home to WKAR TV and WKAR Radio, joins MSU’s College of Communication Arts and Sciences effective July 1.

The shift will enable the university to further the goals of public broadcasting and create new opportunities for tomorrow’s communication leaders, said MSU Provost Kim Wilcox.

“Moving MSU Broadcasting Services into the MSU College of Communication Arts and Sciences promises to provide unprecedented academic and experiential opportunities for MSU students while enhancing the broadcast offerings for our community,” Wilcox said.
