MINDS (WIDE) OPEN is a five-day competition that partners MSU advertising students with Chinese and German students in a challenge to bring different perspectives together to create successful advertising campaigns. The competition, now in its second year, was inspired and is supported by a similar global competition in China, called the “One Club Youth Creative Festival”. Throughout the week, teams of students must work to combat cultural differences and compile their resources and knowledge to create effective and compelling messages with hopes of winning the competition. The teams are mentored by leading industry professional from around the world. Mentors will offer public talks and discussions about creativity and advertising throughout the week.
