Journalism Faculty to Speak at Federal Bar Association

Associate Professor of the School of Journalism Eric Freedman, will be a featured speaker at "A 'Backstage Pass' for Journalists covering the Federal Courts" conference on Wednesday, September 5 at the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit. Freedman's topic is "Why Journalists Should Love Federal Courts" and he will join fellow featured speaker, CNN national correspondent Susan Candiotti as well as a number of other speakers from the areas of public and private law and academia at the daylong conference. 

The conference is sponsored by the Eastern District of the Michigan Chapter Federal Bar Association and aims to help improve journalists' familiarity with the federal courts.
