How to Apply for Credits

You must be admitted as a Lifelong Education student before the program starts.
Lifelong Education students are assessed fees at the Lifelong Education rate. Regular Lifelong Education rates are set at a per credit amount. There are no additional fees associated with this status (i.e., no registration, or late registration fees).
(As of Spring 2013 this is $2,296.50)

Upon successful completion, you will receive three graduate-level credits.

To apply, please go here: http://admissions.msu.edu/apply.asp

  • You will need to apply as an International and Lifelong student.
  • You do NOT need to provide a Social Security Number (SSN)
  • You do NOT need to take the TOEFL, GRE or other entrance exam.

Once enrolled, you will receive two emails.One stating that you have enrolled successfully, and another that will help you set up your MSU accounts.Once you have received these emails and have successfully set up your MSU accounts you can then enroll into the course, or contact Dr. Bree Holtz (bholtz@msu.edu) and she can enroll you into the course.

To get the credits, you must pass all of the modules on time.You cannot receive partial credits.
