Bruno Takahashi, new faculty member in the School of Journalism, will be presenting a paper at the Culture, Politics, and Climate Change conference, which will be held September 13-15 at the University of Colorado Boulder. Takahaski will speak on "Re-examinging the Media-Policy Link: Climate Change and Governments Elites in Peru".
Culture, Politics, and Climate Change is an international conference which gathers some of the foremost international and American scholars in fields such as environmental communication, environmental policy and politics, risk communication, visual culture, religion and the environment, journalism, science communication among others. The cross-disciplinary conference explores intersections between culture, politics, and science in order to enhance understanding of public policy addressing the issues associated with climate change.
