ABOUT THE SERIES
LATIN MUSIC USA is a primetime four-hour series for PBS exploring Latino music in the United States.
From the Caribbean infused rock of Carlos Santana to the rise of Celia Cruz, from Ritchie Valens and the Chicano sounds of East LA to Linda Ronstadt, Gloria Estefan, Los Lobos, Selena Quintanilla and many others, the series reveals how Latinos redefining the American experience.

This event is a collaboration between WKAR, the College of COMMUNICATION ARTS & SCIENCES, the Department of MEDIA & INFORMATION, the FILM STUDIES Program, The CHICANO/LATINO STUDIES Program, the JULIAN SAMORA RESEARCH INSTITUTE, and the COLLEGE ASSISTANCE MIGRANT PROGRAM
