Equipping CAS Researchers for Success

Posted on: August 13, 2013

silk-kamiThe CAS Office for Research helps better equip our faculty and graduate students to be highly effective researchers. Headed by Associate Dean Kami Silk, the office provides guidance for seeking research funding opportunities, as well as assistance during the pre- and post-award processes. The Office of Research also helps ComArtSci faculty build connections with researchers across the university and hosts training events and workshops for both faculty and students on emerging research issues.

The Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Policy  ensures ComArtSci is responsive to university-wide changes underway. Both the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), key funders for several projects currently underway in the college, require RCR training. The ComArtSci RCR policy was redesigned to be responsive to those funders. If you are a faculty member or graduate student involved in research, please make sure you check the Office of Research Intranet
