On Saturday, November 10, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Michigan Chapter will hold its Annual Meeting and program “Face Time with the Pros” from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the College of Communication Arts & Sciences.
“Face Time With The Pros” is a free student-focused program co-sponsored by the MSU School of Journalism and it consists of a day of workshops and panel discussions covering the topics of TV news production, reporting and anchoring, multi-media journalism, TV news photography, video editing and graphics, production and other relevant industry topics. There will also be resume reviews, mock interviews and networking opportunities available to students wishing to learn more about the business.
Though space is limited, the event is free to those who register and will include appearances by industry leaders including news directors from around the state as well as former EMMY winners.
