Edward Deeb Awarded FBI Director's Community Leadership Award

Mr. Deeb accepts his papers with joy.Edward Deeb (BA '60 Advertising) was named recipient of the 2011 FBI Director's Community Leadership Award. Deeb received the award for his work as a community leader and co-founder of the award winning Metro Detroit Youth Day program on Belle Isle. Metro Detroit Youth Day brings thousands of young people together each July receiving high honors, including the Point of Light Award from President George H.W. Bush. Deeb is also the president and CEO of the Michigan Food and Beverage Association and the Michigan Business and Professional Association. Deeb was honored with the MSU Distinguished Alumni Award from MSU in 1998 and with the CAS Outstanding Alumni Award in 2002. He is the namesake of the Edward Deeb Lobby and Conference Room in the CAS building. Congratulations, Edward Deeb!
