The Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders is focused on teaching and research aimed at helping people with speech and hearing impairments to communicate. Our Ph.D. program provides broad inter-disciplinary training to help prepare the best researchers. Our Master of Arts program in Communicative Sciences and Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) is a highly regarded program that is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Students in our program receive diverse opportunities to learn in the classroom, in the laboratory and in clinic practice. We have an extensive network of off-campus clinical practicum placement sites for student training.
