Communicative Sciences and Disorders Master's Overview

Transforming lives through their teaching, research and service, CSD is adopting a problem-based learning approach in which students learn both thinking strategies and domain knowledge through problem-solving.

Current research areas include early detection of Parkinson’s disease through analysis of speech patterns, improving clinical diagnosis of voice disorders, and understanding and detecting causes of stuttering in infants and children.

Faculty consists of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Fellows, world-renowned researchers, and recipients of numerous honors and recognitions.
