International Applicants and Non-Native English Speakers

If you are a non-native English-speaking applicant to our graduate degree program, you are required to submit a verified English-language audiotape or CD sample of your spontaneous speech in addition to any other tests of your English language abilities. This should take the form of an approximately five-minute spontaneous speech sample of you speaking in English. Please state your name and purpose of the tape or CD at the beginning of the recording. The tape or CD will then need to be sent to us accompanied by a letter from a speech-language pathologist, audiologist, physician, or other similar professional, or a notary public or some other similar records official verifying that your voice is recorded on the tape or CD. We need to receive the tape prior to January 15th.

This tape or CD is required in order for your application to be reviewed for admission. It should be mailed to the following address:
