CAS Students Win Michigan College Broadcast Awards

MAB Students from the College of Communication Arts & Sciences were once again among the top finalists of the 2013 Michigan College Broadcast Awards. The awards, which are sponsored by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, were announced on February 1. Out of all the participating colleges and universities, MSU won the highest number of first-place awards.

Second Place – Joseph Khalil

Honorable Mention - Josh Sidorowicz

College Radio

Honorable Mention for Air Check – Aiman Farooq

Second Place for MIARNG Current Events Program – Emanuele Berry, Ed Glazer

First Place for Talk Show – Emily Fox, Kyle Pacysnki

First Place for Public Service Announcement – Eric Schendel, Randy Adams, Josh Rickert

First Place for Promotional Announcement – Lucas Ball, Randy Adams, Josh Rickert, Ed Glazer

Honorable Mention for Promotional Announcement – Randy Adams, Josh Rickert, Jeff Grossman

The Michigan Association of Broadcasters in as organization that represents commercial radio and television broadcast stations in the state of Michigan.
