Trajan Dubiel, Assistant Director of Development, represents the College of Communication Arts & Sciences at Michigan State University in working with alumni and donors. In this role, Dubiel serves as a liaison between people who are philanthropic and the University. He also works to advance the College by connecting successful alumni in ways that enhance the educational experience for students.

After earning his Master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration from MSU in 2003, Dubiel began his fundraising career at Albion College, where he most recently served as the director of annual leadership giving from 2011 until 2013. While with Albion College, Dubiel developed the Corporate Sponsorship program, led a 200% increase in Phonathon dollars, oversaw a 234% increase in faculty and staff giving percentage, established a student philanthropy program, and created the College’s first mascot.

Originally from Ohio, Dubiel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Vermont. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Communities In Schools of Michigan.

Director of Development Meredith Jagutis has more than 14 years of legal and development experience with a primary focus on health and educational institutions. Through her work most recently with CCS, a fundraising, development and strategy-consulting firm, she provided guidance, training and education to organizational leadership, development professionals, and volunteers in myriad organizations throughout the Midwest.

Prior to joining CCS, Meredith provided senior leadership for the $4.5 million annual giving program at St. Ignatius College Prep high school in Chicago. She previously served as Director of Development for the Lansing Symphony Orchestra where she organized and improved the entire development program while also assisting with developing and implementing a 5-10 year strategic plan for the organization. Prior to embarking on her career in development, Meredith practiced law with a business and tax focus assisting corporate clients in various industries.

Meredith holds a B.A. from Indiana University and a J.D. from Marquette University.

Peck comes to MSU from Eastern Michigan University where she served as Assistant Director of Development and worked to secure major gifts for EMU’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Peck comes to MSU from Eastern Michigan University where she served as Assistant Director of Development and worked to secure major gifts for EMU’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Prior to working for EMU, Peck honed her development skills in the health sector, working as Development Director for the Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Great Lakes Chapter. She also held marketing positions with Friendship Village and Tendercare in Kalamazoo, Mich.

While a student at MSU, Peck created, founded and was the first Editor in Chief of The Big Green, MSU’s online magazine that is written, edited and designed by students for students. Since Peck founded The Big Green in March 2003, the online magazine has grown exponentially over the past 10 years.

Beth holds a B.A. in Communications from Michigan State University.
