Thomas Culligan served as Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer of The Washington Times until March, 2013. He is now Special Consultant to the President/CEO of The Washington Times. The company has a wide range of print, digital, broadcast and social channels including The Washington Times, The Washington Times National Weekly, washingtontimes.com, Andy Parks...Live from The Washington Times as well as numerous symposia on geopolitical issues.
Culligan has extensive experience in marketing, sales and general management in the media industry. He launched his career at the Chicago Tribune serving in numerous sales and marketing management positions.
Working for Tribune Company in Southern California, he was a key member of the management team that launched the Los Angeles Daily News, serving as Executive Vice President and General Manager.
While in California, Culligan served as Publisher of The Palo Alto Times, Redwood City Tribune and later as Publisher of the Pasadena Star-News.
He led major marketing/sales programs expanding markets for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, where he was Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing and Mediapassage.com where he served as Chief Marketing Officer.
At Turner Broadcasting, Culligan served as Vice President, Marketing for The Goodwill Games held in St. Petersburg, Russia. He is a recipient of the prestigious American Marketing Association's Gold Effie for Advertising Effectiveness.
