Proposal Submission

All proposals, regardless of the agency or category, require the following:

A project budget and budget justification.

A project description and scope of work.

An internal transmittal or an electronic document that records the approval of all Principal Investigators, department chairs and college-level deans. These are required for all external submissions.

Rules of Engagement

Notify us as far in advance as possible of a pending proposal.

Budgets should be ready for submission to OSP 10-14 days in advance of due date.

All elements and pieces of proposals need to be to us 5-7 days in advance of the proposal due date.

We reserve the right to call a proposal "too late for submission." A successful proposal submission involves the coordination of several elements and individual players. Not allowing sufficient time to complete the required documents and obtain the necessary approvals from collaborating units, deans, department chairs,and OSP may result in a failed submission.
