College of Communication Arts and Sciences
The College of Communication Arts and Sciences seeks to hire an Advising Specialist
to work jointly in CAS Student Affairs and CAS Career Advising offices. This position
will assist with academic advising, which includes course selection and connecting
students with campus and local academic resources; as well as assisting with career
advising, which includes career programming and event implementation as well as
facilitating and interpreting career assessments.
A Bachelor’s degree in Communication or a related field is required however a master’s
degree is preferred. Experience in career advising, academic advising and knowledge
of communication careers is preferred.
