Gary Reid has been honored with the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters (MAB).
Reid is a Distinguished Senior Academic Specialist in the Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media, Associate Director of the Quello Center, and General Manager of WDBM-FM.
He was inducted into the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame on July 10th, 2007. The Michigan Broadcasting Hall of Fame recognizes broadcasters for their leadership, achievement and contributions to the industry. The Lifetime Achievement Award that he is receiving is the highest award given from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. Reid will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the MAB Chairman's Banquet & Awards Presentation on June 27.
